From Paramedic to Doctor?

Im currently enrolled in a paramedic course at the local community college. It has been 8 years since I graduated high school and I now enjoy school so much more. Im in my final semester of my paramedic course which is an ociates degree. I plan on furthering my education at UVA, after I get my national registry, as a biochem major with a pre med focus but I have a few small doubts. First is my age, by the time I actually enroll in UVA i'll be 26. With my transfer credits i'll probably need 3 years of undergrad and the 4 at med school then residency. Is 26 to old to try? Second is if I have the smarts, I currently have a 4.0 but it is at a community college and well the cles are ridiculously easy but I'm pretty sure that a University is going to be much more difficult. Well any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all!
