Was Melvin B. Tolson friends with robert frost?
Still another honor was awarded in 1954, when Tolson was appointed permanent fellow in poetry and drama at the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. This award led to a life-long friendship with the poet Robert Frost.
