Do you think all this radiation will affect future generations in Japan? My heart goes out to them.?

I find it ironic that the Japanese chose nukes after the hydrogen bomb was dropped on them. Even now there are people born with defects related to THAT time. After this, I believe it's logical to expect that in future, there will be many cancers & other maladies from this recent crisis.
