How difficult is it to live with a cat when you have allergies?

any antihistamine meds would be fine; but all the drugs that you'd be taking would not be good for you over the next couple years. a better solution may be to get an air purifier for your room so the exposure to the allergen is greatly decreased. something with a hepa filter or ionized will get out most of the pet dander in the air and you can likely decrease intake of meds.
