Is justice really served here?

Nothing can justify taking someone else life. But, he will get 25 years behind bars. 25 years to sit there in that small cell; missing out on life, on having a family; a home; a career, to realize what he has done to that lady and her family and he will have to live with that for the rest of his life. On ending his prison term he will be deported from the US.
